Mathematical and Physical Research Group
Focusing on the theoretical discourse and dilemma, paradox identification, mathematical utilization on physical systems, and the theoretical-practical gap in principled physical theories.
Welcome to the RHINE-MAPR - Mathematical and Physical Research Group, a laboratory section of RHINELAB focuses on researching the foundation, the inherent details and non-trivial ‘just a theory, quantum mechanics is there and just use it’ (for example, obviously), and the re-concretization of theoretical and practical knowledge, in a coherent and from scratch altitude 1.
Active members
There are a few foundational members of the lab in operation, and much of them are for now,in the list of active members are tasked with either physics or mathematical analysis, and foundational review before jumping to any tasks afterward. Thence, we have currently.
- Tran Cong Long - core member
- Bui Gia Khanh (Fujimiya Amane) - core member
- Ha Thi Thuy Linh - core member
- Tran Minh Vu (Yuki Makoto) - core member
- Le Minh Anh
- Nguyen Hoang Huy
- Do Quang Binh
- Ngo Quang Huy - core member
- Nguyen Thu Trang
There are three even core members of this group, which is targetted of who to be the Director of each sub-strata of the laboratory, and the former only person at the lab initially: (1) Bui Gia Khanh is the leader of RHINELAB as a whole, (2) Tran Cong Long is the leader of RHINELAB Mathematics and Theoretical Physics subgroup, (3) Ha Thi Thuy Linh is the leader of RHINELAB Nuclear Physics subgroup.
Working and principles
For now, let us introduce briefly of the details concerning the members of RHINELAB Physics Group Members, and what we are to expect people working inside this fundamental angle of research. Within this group we investigate and research problems in the field of Physics, in general. The hierarchy of the group will be as follows, starting as a branching office from RHINELAB in full. \[ \text{RHINELAB Physics Group}\rightarrow\left\{\begin{matrix} \text{Mathematics and Theoretical Physics Subgroup}\\ \text{Nuclear Physics Subgroup} \\ \text{Mathematics and Foundation Building Subgroup} \end{matrix}\right. \] And, subsequently, for RHINELAB Physics Group, such includes some of the major research anecdotes that are of focus for foundation of physical knowledge as we realize it so: \[ \text{RHINELAB Physics Group}\rightarrow \left\{ \begin{matrix} \text{Mathematical Physics}\\ \text{Statistics and Probability Theory} \\ \text{Quantum Physics} \\ \text{Theoretical Nuclear Physics} \end{matrix} \right. \]
The focus, and the contents in specificity of focus can be and will be different later on, however within the scope of foundational build-up of present, the plan is to rely on those fields to establish a sound foundation before attempting any serious works.
Research Projects and Directives
This section is dedicated to the listing and presentation of research projects and directives. For more information, we need a statement report, which is underway.
The current research directive of the group is to first, build the knowledge foundations of the group by doing studies on their subject of interest. As of 22/04/2026, only the subgroups: (1) Mathematics and Theoretical Physics Subgroup and (2) Nuclear Physics Subgroup are operating.
Mathematics and Theoretical Physics Subgroup
Currently, in writing stage. Note that the document codes are universal of all the laboratory, so by ordering prefixes, those are what typically of.
- RES-PROP-01: A proposal of a research concerning a problem of cancellations.
- RES-PROP-03: A proposal of a research concerning the linguistics investigation of the theory of Partial Differential Equations and the Navier-Stokes Equations.
Nuclear Physics Subgroup
Waiting for subgroup leader to fill in.
Foundations Building Group
From the foundational build-up group, those are the few proposals at present.
- REP-RP-03: Mathematical Physics report.
- PED/FND-PROP-02: Nuclear Physics report proposal.
- PED/FND-PROP-03: Statistics and Probability Theory report proposal.
- REP/FND-RP-04: Ring Theory report.
- PED/FND-PROP-04: Foundational Physics Fill-up
Most of them are in consideration of nuclear physics, mathematical physics, probability theory, and ring theory in certain specific sense.
More details on subgroups
Mathematics and Theoretical Physics Subgroup
This subgroup currently have two (2) people, that being Tran Cong Long and Bui Gia Khanh (Fujimiya Amane). In this subgroup we investigate foundations of physics, mathematical modelling in physics, (to be filled in more).
Nuclear Physics Subgroup
This subgroup currently have two (2) people, that being Ha Thi Thuy Linh and Nguyen Hoang Huy. Research directive pending.
Current Foundation Building Subgroup
This subgroup is dedicated for people currently building the foundational knowledge . This group currently contains four (4) people:
- Tran Minh Vu: currently on astrophysics.
- Le Minh Anh: probability theory.
- Nguyen Hoang Huy: nuclear physics and particle physics.
- Do Quang Binh: Theoretical physics.
Most of the time, well they are alright of their own merits. The targets are pointed, most of the time because they would like to set up different traditions altogether.
Current state, April 24th, 2026.
Footnotes
It also means we reject framing about mathematical superiority, nor the view that physical world are just there and we can capture them all, on both side. Additionally, pure mathematics are researched here, but the epistemology means we reject the framing that math is simply the prime matter of the world - everything is math, and furthermore that no views are not contested, and are not allowed to be said without being berated, abstraction view of math, etc., like usual in the mathematical community, which is a pain.↩︎
